Robert N. Belle, Jr.
Robert Belle was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated high school from the Belmont Hill School. After high school, he received his Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education from Clemson University. While attending Clemson University, Mr. Belle was awarded membership into the Golden Key National Honor Society and Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society. Mr. Belle obtained his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in his hometown of Boston. As a law student, Mr. Belle completed a clerkship for the Honorable Julian Houston of the Massachusetts Superior Court and served as a legal writing teaching assistant.
After completing law school, Mr. Belle worked at the Miami-Dade and Orange/ Osceola Public Defenders Offices where he represented indigent clients on a wide range of offenses ranging from misdemeanors to capital felonies. Mr. Belle tried over 45 jury trials while working at the public defenders’ offices and he was previously Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law. After leaving public service, Mr. Belle worked for several years at a large Orlando law firm where he litigated and tried numerous personal injury matters on behalf of the country’s largest auto insurance company and their insureds.
Since joining Monts Law, P.L. as a partner, Mr. Belle has had the distinct honor of using his years of practice and trial experience to help obtain justice for people who have been wrongfully injured due to the negligence of others.
Mr. Belle is admitted to practice law in the states of Florida and Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
